As a rule we never charged for services relating to recovery assistance, especially for those in crisis. We rely on donations from those who believe in helping others, whether they have personally been affected by addictions or not.

Many of our supporters received help in their time of need, and became supporters to keep the ministry going for the next person or family.

DBR was founded in 2002 by Steve & Sharon Horne. An application for "Advance Ruling" was submitted and approved by the IRS. Upon completion of the required three-year operating period, we were successfully audited by the IRS and received our final letter of determination in 2006.

DBR operates under the scrutiny of our Board of Directors and maintains the highest level of integrity and accountability in all financial matters.

Many donors want to know what percentage of their gift goes directly to the cause they are supporting. DBR retains just 10% of donations, which supports the general operating expenses of the ministry. The other 90% goes directly to the ministry of choice.

DBR Ministries is a 501(C)3 Non-profit organization that relies on the donations of individuals, families and businesses.
